It’s a new year! I love new beginnings. I really have two beginning times in my year – September (the start of the school year, who doesn’t like that time of year?) and January. There are a number of things that Jason and I have talked about wanting to do and accomplish this year.
- Visit the zoo in Edmonton.
- Go camping. We went last year and we’d love to do it again in 2011.
- Remove the step in the living room.
- Take the side door out.
- Re-shingle the front portion of the roof.
- Start preparing the inside of where the kitchen is going to be one day.
- Open the wall to make the loft bedroom larger.
- If our friends are building their addition this summer, I’m sure we’ll be out helping them.
I can’t wait for these things to actually happen! I will get to show my kids a place my parents took my brothers and me. We all loved camping this past summer. And all the other things will give me more room in my house and make organizing our life and space easier. I see 2011 holding good things for my family!
