In 2004, we had the unfortunate opportunity to have these two wonderful services involved in our lives. STARS is an air ambulance service; the helicopter took our son from the Camrose hospital to the U of A Stollery Children’s Hospital NICU in Edmonton.
I really don’t know enough about these two emergency services, but I do know that both save lives. I know the people involved do everything they can to help those in desperate need of medical care.
We don’t have a lot of extra money or time at this point in our lives, and the time and money we do have are are feeling led to put into our own community and church family. At some point I would love for Jason and I to be able to support these two services either with time or with money. I want them to be able to go on serving our province and our country.
