So here’s why I believe outhouses are better than flush toilets:
* less water waste (thanks, Kathryn)
* no plunging necessary
* no need to retrieve items that fall in (who’d want it back anyway after that!!!)
* they are great for science lessons – bugs and decomposition are two examples.
* no need to teach children to use 4 or less squares per wipe!!! (the cause of my repeat plunging this week)
Can you tell I’ve had toilet issues this week???
And because of the extreme use of toilet paper, you can imagine how HAPPY I was when the cashier kindly pointed out where the better deal on toilet paper was when I was at the store on Saturday!!!

You're crazy if you think outhouses are better than toilets, this is the 21st Century and we need to stick with new ideas. The outhouses were good for explorers who wanted to go to the bathroom but never good for a city, especially urban.
