Starting T-Tapp

Have you heard of T-Tapp??  I have.  A couple of times over the last few years.  I need to do something.  I was encouraged to start so I got a copy of the book from our library system and started reading.  I am anxiously waiting for the DVD to arrive as well.  I am greatly encouraged by what I’ve read.  It makes a TONNE of sense and seems simple, and yet not too good to be true.

I weighed in this morning with my Wii Fit Board at 184 lbs.  It’s not the most I’ve ever weighed, but it’s way more than I should be (in my opinion) a year after having a baby.  The only times I’ve been heavier (that I can recall) is at the end of a couple of my pregnancies.

I still need to take some measurements to get my starting point.  To see how many inches I will loose with this exercise.  I am excited!

I’d like to loose 3-4 clothing sizes.  I am currently comfortable in a size 16 pant.  With this goal in mind, the author of Fit and Fabulous in 15 Minutes, recommends the following:

  • Do a full T-Tapp workout (Basic Plus Workout) ten to fourteen days in a row. (BOOT CAMP)
  • Then switch to an every other day workout schedule for four to five weeks.
  • Then take two days off between workouts for another four to five weeks, until you hit your desired size, and then work out a couple of times a week to maintain results.

I was showing my DH the basic stance for the exercises and in just a few short minutes of demonstration while explaining the concept to him, I felt it in my stomach muscles!  He was intrigued by T-Tapp as well.  I really hope he’ll join me.  If the benefits are what I’ve been reading (success stories in the book and online) we will both be slim and trim in no time.

Can you imagine?
