NO!

It is the

Ultimate Blog Party 2009

Welcome to my blog!

Hi! I am LaDonna. I really never know what to say in these introductory posts.

I'm J's wife and mom to five precious little ones here and one gone on ahead of us to visit with Jesus face to face. We live in northern Canada where spring has yet to arrive! We homeschool our crew. And we are in the process (long and drawn out) of renovating an old Anglican church into a home. We try to have a lot of fun doing both those activities.

I started blogging about a year or so ago simply to have a log of our homeschooling activities. We don't follow a specific curriculum so I needed some way to log our progress. My blog has blossomed into so much more than that! I blog to communicate with friends and family. I blog to organize thoughts, as if in a journal. I blog to keep myself organized. My blog is pretty low-key (like me), but blogging is one of my favorite things to do!

In fact, I spend some time writing reviews over at Simply Sensational Divas Review. I'm joined there by 6 other ladies. There are Christy from ShaketheSalt, Tammy from Pink Stinx, Christi from Polka Spot Farm, Stephanie, Kim and Cathy! This is a great bunch of ladies - supportive, friendly, fun and busy. Most of us are in the midst of parenting little ones and some don't get to blog often or just haven't jumped into the blogging world yet (other than SSDR). Christy and I are working on them!

Again, welcome here. Please leave a comment to let me know you stopped by. Don't forget to hop back over to 5 Minutes for Moms for more partying bloggers! Oh, and check out the prizes! Here's my list:

USC 7 - One Monogrammed Zip Tote by Celebrated Designs
USC 16 - $50 gift certificate to Kristen's Custom Creations
USC 26 - $50 gift voucher to Hatley
USC 46 - Two pair Leg Huggers & a Onzie from Agoo, provided by Wishing Penny
USC 50 - signed copy of Queen of the Castle by Lynn Bowen Walker
USC 54 - Sane Woman's Guide to Raising a Large Family by Mary Ostyn
USC 58 - Handmade Retro Apron of your choice from Kati at Boojiboo

There are sooooo many great gifts and giveaways! Enjoy the party!

Blog Party Woohoo! Talk about fashionably late, right, sorry. I have been sick which left me in a fog all last week, so I am still trying to make my rounds. Better late than never I figured. Anyway, hope you had a great week at the UBP. Hope to see you again sometime!
