Saucy Chicken
2 Tbsp water
1 Tbsp oil
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup ketchup
2 Tbsp vinegar
2 tsp Worcestshire sauce
1 envelope dry onion soup mix (or one onion chopped small)
3 lbs chicken parts, no skin
Arrange chicken meaty side up in a single layer in the roaster. Spoon sauce over top being sure to get some on every piece. Cover. Bake at 350F for 50-60 minutes until very tender. (I usually double the sauce and serve with rice or mashed potatoes.)
