Habit for the Month - October Review

Well, the month of October was a focus on activities and maintaining the habits of previous months. I think the only thing that didn't get focused on was the homeschooling. We rarely sat down to do book work. However, education is more than book work and we did lots of other things - volunteering, reading, coloring, organizing, chores.

Our activities this month went really well. The Dr Seuss birthday party was fun to plan and execute. The Fireman's Ball was a blast!! My parents' visit was great!

Also in October we had a lot of sickness. J was not well most of the month and the kids alternated between each other being sick. I held off getting sick until they were all on the mend. I got sick yesterday; today my head is still swimming. Thankfully, J has been home for the last week so he's helped with things as did my parents for the week they were here. (While I'm thankful J has been home for a week, because I like to have him around, but we are sad and trying to leave it with God, that he's had no work all week.)

Striving to learn and live God's purposes,
