It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

Having this meme, encourages me to read.  This weekend I got off the computer a little earlier in the evening and sat on the couch while dh watched TV.

I finished up February and April of One Year to an Organized Financial Life and I really enjoyed reviewing information I'd learned before and getting some reminders to continue on with what is working!  Things that were working for us are using cash and making a budget every single month.  We need to get back into doing this two things.

I also picked Fascinating Womanhood back up again.  I am part of a Yahoo group that gives a monthly reading assignment.  This month (May) we are working on chapter 21 - The Feminine Role vs. The Working Wife.  I read most of the chapter in one sitting and would have read more but I was starting to fall asleep on the couch.  I want to take in the information and apply it to my life so I didn't want to be asleep.  I am also working from the front of this book and am on page 25.

A Voice in the Wind hasn't been picked up again.  I just haven't taken the time to read but want to get back to this book, because I'm reading it along with a book club!

The Magician's Book is such a heavy read for me.  I haven't been able to find the desire to get back to this one either.  It's not bedtime reading and I haven't been able to find a quiet time during the day to read it.

I bought a copy of Outcast by C L Talmadge.  I have really enjoyed the first three books and have been waiting to read this one.  I have not started yet; it's next!  And won't likely take me long to get through this piece.  I've stayed up nights - late - reading the previous books in the series.  The only reason I haven't started reading already is because I have so many others on the go already.

I need a reading kick in the pants.  To link up to this meme, visit One Persons Journey through a World of Books.
