The classic favorite Jumble puzzles are now available with Bible-based content just for kids! Each Jumble relates to a Scripture passage listed on the Jumble page so that kids can read and learn about the Bible verse or story. This book includes a mix of six different types of Jumbles:

Traditional Jumbles

Mystery Person Jumbles

Jumble Detective

Jumble Criss-Cross

Find the Jumbles

Bible Passage Jumbles

Kids and their parents will have fun solving all 200 puzzles while learning more about the Bible.

A Bible passage to read.  A list of jumbled words.  A set of clues.  A mystery answer to solve.  All this equals loads of fun!

We have attempted a couple of these puzzles and I have been perusing the book.  I read the Bible story to the children from the NIV.  Then giving them hints and clues as needed (sometimes from the story, sometimes getting them to think about the words themselves) we solved the jumbled words together.  The “BOX OF CLUES” was very helpful.

The girls are 7 and 8 years old.  They are not confident readers and so this activity was a bit tough for them to complete.  I know they would not be able to go through the book self-directed.  As their reading level increases, I can see us using this book for family devotions or learning time during our Bible lessons during school time.

I think this approach to  teaching and cementing the Bible stories is fun and interactive; this would be a great way to enhance learning for many learning styles!
