What My Children Are Reading

child reading

Finding Nemo Look & Find (Look and Find (Publications International))Finding Nemo Look and Find – Mr. W is loving this book.  We’ve had it in the house now for a couple weeks.

I’m A Great Big Tow Truck – This is a series of books all about “Great Big” things that boys would love.  W has a number of the books and has borrowed more from the series from the library.

The Cat's Quizzer (Beginner Books(R))The Cat’s Quizzer – C found this book at our local Pizza Delight.  She wanted to take it home with her to finish reading, but of course she couldn’t.  So I wrote down the title and ordered it from our local library system.  C and K have poured over the pages.

Little House on the Prairie (read-aloud) – We are continuing on with the series.  Last night the story was left at a very sad spot.  The girls’ dog was missing, assumed dead.  I can’t wait for them to hear the happy ending that is coming.

The Little Brute Family The Little Brute Family – I haven’t read this one.  I found it on another blog listing “must have / must read” books for children.  C grabbed it up right away and I haven’t seen it since.

I Spy Super Challenger! A Book of Picture Riddles – Baby R loves this book; it has lots of things to look at and the colors are bright and clear.  W loves it too and has found his Christmas gift request on one of the pages.

Thank you for joining WMCIR! I want to try Little House on the Prairie as a Read-Aloud - we have enjoyed the "First Little House" version a lot, and I think that daughter will like the full edition as well. I want to look for the Little Brute Family too.
