So it’s been a bit since I posted an update about the Body After Baby challenge being hosted by Mama Notes.
I was doing really well drinking lots of water for about a week. I’m back to not drinking as much and actually drinking more coffee again. Need to get back to replacing the water my body is using.
Since December 26th, I have missed two days on Wii Fit Plus. I’ve done a minimum of 15 minutes daily. I am so pleased. Overall I would say that I am loosing. At the very least, I’m not gaining.
I went back to look at my goals at the beginning of this challenge and they were just not reachable. However, at that time I did not imagine that we would get this much snow! And the temperature has been very cool. Therefore, the walking to get the mail 3-5 times a week will not be happening. However, I guess I could get out there and shovel.
If only the shovel were not buried beneath the snow. Thanks, kids!!
In my initial goals i talked about two exercise machines we have. I haven’t used them, but it might still happen. I need something. The Wii is getting the cardio done but I need some stomach work. I’d do the exercises on the Wii for stomach but many of them require getting on the floor and getting on the floor in this house invites a dog-pile, which generally includes one or more children and the puppy. It’s just not pretty and very ineffective for getting exercising done.
So, that’s where I’m at with that. I am pleased that I am loosing, even if it is very slow progress. And I am pleased with my activity level, but could increase and make a few changes. And I need more water!
