Wednesday was day 3 of the challenge. And Wednesday kind of just disappeared into the wind. So today, day 4 of the challenge, I am trying to “catch-up”. We’ll see if it happens, being that it is already almost 4 PM and I should be starting supper and such things.
Here’s what’s on my list:
- invite friends over to “put up their feet”
- ask my family what makes them feel the most loved when it comes to caring for my home
- dust the tops of shelves and cupboards in my kitchen
- scrub the fronts of the cabinets
- clean the oven and microwave
Already today I’ve washed 5 or 6 loads of laundry. I’ve folded that much or more and put some of that away (or had a child put some away). Some trash got cleaned up and some dishes got washed. The kids and I ate a couple of meals and some of us even had a couple of naps. The kids went to the park and the dog got a walk or two. Now the kids are playing so nicely with puzzles and on the computer.
While all is quiet, I’m off to work in the kitchen on the above items. Tomorrow I’ll report what I got done and give a line or two about day 5.
Striving to learn and live God's purposes,
