Life around here

Aren’t these dandelions such a bright beautiful yellow!!!

And this is my first attempt at challah bread.  I need a little practice at making a tight braid, I think.  This recipe has 11 cups of flour in it and 6 eggs.  I made one HUGE loaf, I just showed you a couple pictures of the same loaf.  :)

I’ll serve this bread at supper tonight and probably for lunch and supper tomorrow. Maybe.

we have just started making bread - almost daily. I think it comes from my husband being used to all fresh food at the firehouse. Chuallah bread has been on my list for some time. Did it turn out the way you wanted?

Trina, it turned out wonderful. My husband wants me to make this bread as our regular recipe. This week it was a little different (smaller); I'll post pics in a bit.
