High School Notes

a mom blog community

Our high school started at grade eight.

Our high school was just over 100 students.

My grad class was 8 – for girls and for guys.

I had one really close friend through all my high school years.

I had a couple of groups of friends that I hung out with over those years.

I was my class valedictorian.

Our building cost over a million dollars to build and was very new when I got there.  As a student I can remember thinking (and probably saying) that there was a TONNE of wasted space, and NO storage.

I dated 2 boys from school prior to grade 10 and being 16 years old (my parents’ rule).

I wasn’t popular (as you can tell from previous points) but I wasn’t un-liked either.

I was an A/B student up until grade 11 and after that my grades dropped considerably.

My clothing was never in style, except for a cool pair of jeans and my roper boots.

I worked two jobs in high school – in the public library and as a cleaning girl for a local insurance agency.

So there you have some random facts about my high school years.
