Ranger Cookies (another of J's favorites)
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup shortening
2 eggs, beaten
2 Tbsp water
2 cups flour
2 cups quick oats
2 cups rice krispies
1 cup coconut
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup each of: nuts, smarties, chocolate chips, raisins, etc.
Cream sugar and shortening. Add beaten eggs. Beat until fluffy. Combine dry ingredients. Add to wet ingredients. Mixture will be really thick. Use hands or a dough hook. Drop on cookie sheet. Bake at 375. Do not over bake.
I like making these because you can really change it up. We love these cookies.
