Book It On Friday

I'm reading!  I'm studying.  I am lovin' it.

I am reading One Year to an Organized Financial Life by Regina Leeds.  This week I"m starting February and April.  I wanted to have week one sections read by today, but I haven't yet.  Hopefully there is not too much "homework".

I'm studying Fascinating Womanhood by Helen Andelin.  Today I re-read Chapter 20 - The Feminine Nature.  I had some thoughts I'd like to share with you.

I have always enjoyed being rescued and protected.  I love seeing that in my little girls too.  I grew up believing that men were to protect and provide for their women and children.  Maybe it's the romantic in me.  I dunno.  I always dreamed of marrying a man who would take care of me.  I like that I am naturally weaker (in many ways) than my husband.  I like that he prefers that I stay home while he goes out to work to provide for us.
