Thankful Thursday – the ability to teach, the ability to learn

TTButton

As a homeschool mom, I have to teach my children the academics they will need as well as the life skills to make their own place in this world.  I am thankful for the many many homeschool resources available to me through this portal we call the internet.

Secondly, I found this blog  and have gathered some really good ideas already.  This afternoon I made little notebooks for my 3 older girls.  In these booklets are their morning routing, their evening routine, and two checklists for the week – one for their bedroom and one for another room in the house.  For the time being, their main focus is going to be on those two rooms and learning how to properly keep them tidy and maintained.  They are a little apprehensive but I can sense some excitement too.

With all these great online resources, there is no reason why each person can’t find someone who “speaks their language”.

What are you thankful for?  For more encouraging words, check out Grace Alone.
