I don’t normally make or keep resolutions. I can’t say that I’ve really made any this year either. That being said, there are a number of things I’d like to change or do. I’ll take the time to list them today.
Read more – for fun, for education, to my children.
Budget monthly.
Work diligently at getting back to my pre-pregnancy body. Or as close to it as I’m able. I have about 40-45 lbs. to lose. Along with that, I want to gain strength and lose inches. I want to be strong and active for my children again.
Get more sleep. I want to be up before my children, even if it is just a few minutes. In order to do that, I need to go to bed before midnight, if not earlier. Our whole family seems to have our sleep schedules shifted right now. We are going to bed later and a number of the children are not getting up until 10AM.
Build relationships. In my family. In my church. In my community. I want to know people a little better. I love that we’ve lived here for almost 4 years now and that we are becoming a part of our community more and more. I want more than surface relationships. That is not to say that I want everyone to be my best friend, or that I want to share my deep dark secrets with all around me. I just want to care and it is easier to care, when there is a relationship there.
So did I just write a list of resolutions? What are resolutions anyway?
Hmm. I guess I did.
