How important are birthdays in your house? Do you make a big deal of them? Are you upset if your birthday is forgotten by your significant other? Do like to have a special dinner? Cake? Presents? Lots of people? Or just a quiet passing of another year of life?

We celebrate the birthdays for the kids with a kid party and a family supper. The boys are older now, so the party is a lot different than they used to be. I like to have a family dinner for my husband... and I like him to do something special for me too... this year he didn't and it really bothered me. I felt guilty about that, but I'm not really into the 'quiet passing' thing... just not my way!
